Pruszcz city of Gdansk has signed an agreement for the project "Reconstruction of the Amber Route in Gdansk Pruszcz awarding him with a trail feature." Deadline for project completion is scheduled for December 31, 2010.

The total investment amounts to 2 365 937.81, respectively. ERDF co-financing totals € 1 959 198.31 zł. The own contribution of the Municipality of Gdansk is Pruszcz 345 740.08 zł, which represents 15% of the total.

The aim of this project is the expansion of local mainstream tourism infrastructure by modifying the cultural tourism product - the amber route from the Roman period in Pruszcz Gdansk. This project will be built 2.38 kilometers of new and rebuilt 0.34 km of hiking trails and built infrastructure will enable the inclusion of the existing trail along the reconstructed trading post in the Tri-City network of cycle paths - will become a function of trail in a marked pedestrian and bicycle .

The project to build a replica of the Roman trading post at the International Cultural Park in Gdansk Pruszcz implies expansion of cultural infrastructure, whose focal point will be reconstructed trading post from the Roman and stylized amber route linked the future of Danzig and the municipalities bordering on the route of its historical course. Restored ancient fort, and built the infrastructure will be located in the city's largest park complex on the surface of about 5 ha. Commercial trading house will be restored as indicated by archaeological an area of approximately 1.5 hectares, surrounded by a palisade, inside which there will be nine wooden houses, workshops and mercantile position. Show will be the urns containing the ashes and graves of boxes from the nearby excavations and museum exhibits are located in the resources of the Archaeological Museum in Gdansk.

The whole act will feature open-air museum presenting a contemporary lifestyle, specific to this area of amber processing technique, the history of amber route, grown here for trade: slaves, amber, honey, leather, etc. On the site will be organized cultural events and trade fairs, m.in . day of amber, honey day, referring to the history happenings amber route, fighting techniques and demonstrations of Roman culture, concerts, exhibitions of paintings, sculpture. Will serve the organization of symposiums, and school education, also at international level.
Opening of the factory is scheduled for spring 2011
