Signed by 33 merchants of Krakow, who pledged the same to the principles of honesty and fairness in trade with Baltic amber. The declaration reads: "(...) It is our duty to protect the image of amber and create its brand in Poland and abroad. Responding to an appeal by the presidents of Gdansk and Krakow, solemnly declare that our shops and galleries only get goods from Baltic amber, do not enter the market of fakes and imitations. (...)

He also pointed out that the initiative of the city of Gdansk and amber community standard is currently written on the Baltic amber, which it believes will give a guarantee of fair trading amber.

Statement of Good Practice amber is part of the "Passport Amber." Accompanied by a publishing house like a real passport, containing inter alia consumer advice on amber and jewelry, information about points of sale in accordance with tributes to the principles of integrity and merchant certificates attesting the authenticity of the product purchase amber. Passports are distributed to buyers and to broaden their knowledge of amber, thereby protecting them from unfair trade practices.

The declaration "is a guarantee of Krakow residents and visitors that you purchased here is the original product amber and natural light shines" - provided Lęcznarowicz. That is the goal of this initiative undertaken by the Foundation of Gdansk: it has encouraged the use of good practices in trade with amber jewelery, which guarantee the purchase of confirmed certificate of authenticity.

Subsequently, the Declaration of Good Practices amber merchants have to sign in Wroclaw and Kalisz. The Foundation estimates that the program will then participate in a total of over 130 major stores and galleries.
