Of course, no one, even I am not going to give the exact location of the amber deposits, but a desire to familiarize you with the occurrence of amber in our area. Overall, there is amber in Poland, almost the entire area. However, significant deposits are located only in a few areas. In the vicinity of Lublin, you can find a lot of Ukrainian resin bed. Unfortunately this is not the Baltic amber, but I have information that there are carried out intensive work on finding a bed suitable for exploitation. The best explored deposits of amber in arrears on the peninsula Chlapowo sambijski. It comes from this region that we call the Baltic amber. Some decks are located in the vicinity of Lomza and Slupsk, particularly intensively exploited in the past. The largest deposit is located in the vicinity of Sambia Peninsula.
